Prayer Request for Students
· Distinguish the Gospel from counterfeits and recognize its benefits.
· See the coherency of Christian doctrine, take the Bible seriously, and understand the claims of Christ.
· Participate in WittCO activities and church, connecting with others and integrating into the Christian community.
· Trust in Christ by faith and recognize a transformation in life, desiring God's word and grieving over sin.
· Build a deep foundation for their faith and develop an intimate relationship with Jesus.
· See ways they have found their identity in achievement, pleasure, approval, etc. and begin to see Christ as the only true source of identity and life.
· Begin to study the Bible regularly, increase in faith, and take steps to follow Christ.
· Experience Gospel freedom that helps them turn from sins of their former lifestyle.
· Cultivate a practice of prayer, asking for guidance, strength, and wisdom.
· Develop skills to study, interpret, and apply the Bible.
· Continue to apply the Gospel to life as they grow deeper in understanding of root sins, idolatry, and heart issues.
· Learn how to articulate the Gospel clearly and winsomely.
· Be led into opportunities to share Christ with others.
· Serve in areas of need with WittCO, their local church, and on campus.
· Learn to lead in a Christ-like way in a variety of environments.
· Find and connect to a Gospel-centered, Bible teaching church quickly after graduation.
· Live out a Christ-centered identity with Spirit-filled character at work and in the community.
· Be governed in all of life and work by a Biblical worldview.
· Multiply this lifestyle in others by discipling and mentoring others.
